How do I start the fire?

Use 1–2 fire starters in the center, add 2–3 small dry wood pieces loosely around them, and light with a long lighter or match. Once the flame is established, add slightly larger wood gradually. For best results, use dry wood under 6 inches long and keep airflow holes clear.

What fuels does the VESTA use?

The VESTA runs on regular firewood, charcoal, or fire starters. It does not use alcohol-based fuels.

What fuel works best for low smoke?

Use seasoned dry wood (≈20% moisture) or high-quality charcoal. Wet, green, or treated wood produces more smoke.

Is it safe on my deck?

Yes, with precautions:

Place on a heat-resistant base or fire mat.

Keep clearance around and under the unit.

Follow your deck manufacturer’s guidance (especially for composite decks).

Is it really smokeless?

“Smokeless” means significantly reduced smoke. Proper dry fuel and Vesta airflow give you the cleanest burn.

Can I cook on it?

Yes! Perfect for roasting s’mores or grilling when paired with our attachable grill.

How do I clean it?

When fully cool, remove the ash pan by pulling it out with the fire poker, dispose of ash safely, and wipe down the fire pit body with a soft cloth.
